Meet our board members
They empower you to solve your most complex costing questions
After realizing there was no software capable of properly addressing all of our clients’ needs, we decided to take matters into our own hands. This is when we developed our own software and CostPerform became reality. Fast forward 20 years and over 450 organizations and 600 consultants spread across 45 countries use our software.
Get to know our board members who helped make it possible.

I love a good challenge. It started with studying econometrics, and right now, it’s managing CostPerform into its next phase. My personal life grants me other challenges: to be a good father and husband, but also to run 100km through the mountains of France. Challenges represent some sort of adventure for me.
And cost and performance management has a lot of those adventure elements I’m always looking for. Every company is unique in its own way, so helping them to answer their cost and performance questions is always a journey. I like those journeys; all of them are different but always done with the same tools. This is just like my adventures in long-distance running: always in different environments and weather circumstances, but at the end of the day, it is the exact same pair of legs that brings me to the finish line. That’s also what we are aiming for with CostPerform: customized cost models with a standard tool.
My expertise is mainly focused on understanding your business and its relevant challenges. I then translate those challenges into real solutions and answers. Don’t hesitate to share your questions with me. As I said: I love a challenge.

How great is my job? Every day I get to create beauty. Every day I get to solve puzzles. My background in econometrics and computer science helps me in both areas. Sure, it can be a pain sometimes. But when you’ve created something beautiful, when you finally figure out the solution to a problem, there’s nothing more rewarding.
I’m responsible for making our software even better, more beautiful, and more valuable for our customers. I’m proud to lead a great team of developers, QA experts, and support gurus who are invaluable to accomplishing that. But I’m thankful I’m still able to get my hands dirty and do some coding myself.
It’s extremely satisfying to see people working with what you helped create and how it helps them achieve their goals. To me, that is why I love building great software, and CostPerform is just that. We have tons of ideas to make it even better. Having been involved in creating and enhancing CostPerform for nearly 20 years is proof that it doesn’t get boring, and I still enjoy my job every day. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Do you believe that you can have a passion from the moment you are born? During my study - Business Economics - in which the subject costs and costing prices was my favorite, the subject computer science was added to the curriculum. I followed the course out of curiosity and was hooked right away.
Business Economics needs Informatics, so I learned to program during my first job. My family thought that was inferior work for a graduate business economist. I followed my passion and haven’t regretted it for a second. Later, as a KPMG consultant, I always got assignments where cost management and IT were combined. I had a wonderful time there, and I was even allowed to program a cost management tool. After KPMG, I started looking for a cost management tool to continue as an independent consultant with what I really wanted: the implementation of cost management information systems. This tool became CostPerform, and I was asked to joint to continue building the business as co-owner.
That was 20 years ago. I still feel the same passion for cost management and IT. It feels like a true privilege: a company in the IT-sphere, which performs well ánd delivers meaningful results to all types of industries. This passion only grows as I watch the “new generation” at CostPerform show not only the passion but also the energy to give our beautiful company the growth it deserves.
We will reach more customers and convince them that CostPerform adds value to existing information systems in a unique way and has a real impact on performance. CostPerform deserves it, and our customers deserve it. Oh yes, I also have a passion for other things! My family and friends, my second hometown Otricoli in Italy, my olive oil, and last but not least, my 1975 FIAT 355C tractor.

I have a passion for numbers and modeling because they provide insights. Ever since my studies in business economics with a major in management consulting, my goal has been to help organizations do better. This resulted in my thesis on organizations being more efficient and becoming more sustainable by leaving less of an environmental footprint.
During my career as a management consultant, I have used CostPerform as a tool. With CostPerform, I support organizations in getting more out of their scarce resources. I’m thankful that I’ve been able to help both the private and public sectors using CostPerform on a global scale for over 25 years.
In the private sector, my goal is to help companies improve their bottom line. In the public sector, I believe in helping government agencies pursue their mission and be a better steward of taxpayer money. My experience enabled me to also aid healthcare providers in delivering the most cost-effective care. With this, I’m invested in their success stories.
Throughout the years, my role as a management consultant evolved into a more software-centric role. I’m committed to helping and supporting our consulting partners and clients to become the best versions of themselves. CostPerform does precisely this. I go the extra mile to improve their performance. Besides working with partners and clients internationally, I partly focus my efforts on the US market. In particular, I focus on the US Federal Government and our consulting partners servicing this industry. Building meaningful and long-lasting relationships with our partners and customers from all over the world continually energizes me. In my journey, I’m able to take my experience in cost modeling and help partners and clients to get to the next level on an ever-greater scale. Helping partners and clients is what excites me.
